Ride With a Rattler Day
The 2026 Ride With a Rattler Day will be held later in the summer.
There will be an additional opportunity on June 6, 2026 to ride with us during the annual RioFest in Alamosa!

Who?
You! If you will be in middle school or high school in the fall. Be sure to bring your parents!
IT'S FUN!!!
When?

Typically starts at 10:00
There will be a lot going on!
Where?
We typically start at a base camp then ride some trails at the Limekiln area on BLM.
What?
Learn mountain biking basics from coaches and fellow students on the race team.
Go for a ride and experience two tracks / single tracks, small lifts and drops and maybe even a mini sprint race to see how fast you are!
Why?
Hot dog bar!
Even if you've never ridden a mountain bike before, here's your chance to check it out.
It's a great way to get outside, learn skills and fitness in an activity for your lifetime!

Your parents must be there and sign a waiver - it's the only way!
They may be able to leave once we go for a ride. -
If you bring your own bike, our top notch team mechanic will give it a safety inspection before we ride.

If you'd like to borrow a bike, we may be able to help.
We have a fleet of bikes that we can try to loan you one from. -
You MUST wear a helmet!
We also have these if you need to borrow one. -
Wear appropriate clothing for the day's forecast.
Layers may be needed. -
Only closed-toed foot wear is allowed.
